Although we are constantly looking to expand our business we are still a small family run company. As a mother and daughter team, Jenny and Michelle Sanders, are proud of the high quality, personal and friendly service that they offer.

Kernow Equestrian started in 2008 when Michelle's Jack Russel, Spice, started feeling the cold and needed a fleece rug to keep her warm. After buying one that kept undoing or slipping off we decided to design and make one ourselves. While out at events people kept asking where we'd got the coat from and once told wanted to know if mum could make their dog one and so it went on from there!

We then decided to use our knowledge and experience in owning and competing horses and ponies to develop a variety of practical hoods. The main aim being to make life easier by helping to keep the horses cleaner, both in and out of the stable and to try and keep clipped coats from growing out so quickly!
